
When we opened Sakura in Moseley, our dream was simple: bring people together over incredible Korean BBQ, bold flavours, and good vibes. And wow what a ride it was. From cosy date nights and group hangouts to family dinners and first-time KBBQ lovers, we were lucky to meet so many of you, laugh with you, and feed you.
Although we had to close our doors in Moseley, it wasnt goodbye it's was more like a hot, sizzling see you soon. Because everything you loved at Sakura? It’s alive and grilling here in Selly Oak.
Kimchi is where Korean BBQ really comes to life. Interactive table grills. Sizzling meats. That perfect balance of spice, sweetness, and savoury comfort. Sound familiar?
You’ll still find all your Sakura favourites, from crispy kimchi jeon and juicy bulgogi to rich ramen, fresh bibimbap, and our signature shareable platters that turn every meal into a celebration.
And yes the BBQ is just as fun. The meats still sizzle, the sauces still slap, and the banchan? Can still be bottomless. 😉
We know change can be bittersweet. But here’s the good news: a lot of the same energy that made Sakura so special lives on in Kimchi. Our team, our passion, and our mission to make every visit unforgettable that’s still who we are.
